Hungry Birds

Hungry Birds is a fast-paced, highly realistic touchscreen game where players fly through the forest and try to eat moths (by touching them).

Recommended by the NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) and winner of several international awards for educational games, Hungry Birds is a magnet for young kids (it was designed for kids 6-12). By simply trying to get a high score, players simulate the intense and competitive world birds live in and how they must work smart and fast to get enough food to survive. But Hungry Birds goes a step further by changing the environment as the game is played, forcing the players to make subconcious strategic decisions.

In the end, the game reveals what has happened and why, demonstrating how “blind” natural selection works – favoring differences that provide advantage.
